Okay now. There are a lot of things that people want to happen at the US Open this year. I know it is the final Grand Slam. The players’ very SOULS are at stake here, people! Serena and Shank-a-Lot have the chance to go 3-for-4.  Can they do it? Seeing how Serena has not won any other titles this year EXCEPT Grand Slams just goes to show where her main interests lay. On the other hand, I must say that Shanx better hope Nole gets his side. If not, hope someone takes Rafa out before Rafa gets to him.

After checking the draw, I stick to my belief that Shanx got the easiest quarter in the history of Roland Garros. In order of difficulty, the quarters stand like this: Shanx > Pong > Smurf > the OCD One.

Rafa’s quarter is the quarter from hell… to anyone else. But because he’s Rafa, his draw might not be anything but glorified practice sessions. I don’t expect to see Pong past the 4th rd, so… We’ll put Gonzo and the Fearhand in his place.

Nole’s quarter sadly contains delPo. It is my belief that delPo and Pong should ALWAYS be in the same quarter. Too bad… Nole should come through; his only real obstacle possibly being delPo.

Do I need to go into detail on Shankstar’s draw? Roddick’s in it. Andy possibly could make the quarter. To think I read somewhere that PHM could probably take Shanx out. PHM plays well in Paree, but that’s one task I don’t see being completed.

1, 2, and 4 should make the semis. Since 2 and 4 will battle it out at that point, what will 1 do?

Of course, this is all speculation..
